By arming the people, implementing a food siege and targeting regime strongholds simultaneously, the United States could create a perfect storm that the Islamic Republic is ill equipped to handle.

While President Trump and the Pentagon coordinate a massive global blockade against Iranian vessels, the international stakes are rising to unprecedented levels.
Russia has reportedly begun providing Tehran with warnings regarding a potential American ground invasion, while China has pledged to supply the regime with advanced radar technology.
Despite this foreign support, the insolence shown by the Iranian leadership in recent days should be triggering a decisive shift in Washington toward a total regime change doctrine.
If the President is determined to act, there are several effective pathways to spark the fall of the Islamic Republic.
The first strategy involves arming the local population. By providing weapons to dissidents during a significant military strike, the United States could force the regime to fight a two-front war.
This internal chaos would distract the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and sow deep confusion within their ranks at the very moment they are being hit from the air.
A second and even more devastating option is a total food blockade. History has shown that a regime that cannot feed its people is a regime that cannot survive.
By cutting off essential supplies under the current military circumstances, the government in Tehran would face an internal clock that eventually leads to a popular uprising or total institutional failure.
The third possibility involves targeted strikes on specific enclaves. This would mean shifting the focus of aerial campaigns toward the neighborhoods where the most radical and elite supporters of the regime reside.
By bringing the reality of the war directly to the doorsteps of the regimes’ loyalists, the administration could break the morale of the very people who keep the current power structure in place.
The fourth and perhaps most likely path is the synergy of all three tactics combined.
By arming the people, implementing a food siege and targeting regime strongholds simultaneously, the United States could create a perfect storm that the Islamic Republic is ill equipped to handle.
As the Iranian leadership continues to push its luck in the Persian Gulf, they may soon find that the President is no longer looking for a deal but for a total transformation of the region meanwhile as to the ethical nature of these steps, one must understand that if their leaders wish death to others, they are not immune from death—and that is the double-edged sword of tyranny.
It has been proven that this change of leadership has not ushered in a moderate or more rational actor to the iranian front line. Hence, it’s time to collapse that entire enterprise.
