I am the parent of 4 daughters and 1 son who is religious and is making aliyah within the next 3 months with his 8 children. My girls on the other hand are not into their religion at all. My girls are 2 out of 4 intermarried and their children (10) have no interest in their Judaism. I love being Jewish but I have no desire to move to Israel. I love America, I served my country in the military. It breaks my heart about my daughters and their lack of feeling for their Judaism. I am not religious but I daven with tephillen everyday but Shabbos. I daven Minchah/Maariv 4 days a week. We keep kosher but I have no desire to live in Israel. The main positive for me would be that my grandchildren would marry Jewish but their parents don’t care. All the things that you guys spoke of really have very little to do with what I believe are reasons to move to Israel. Also it troubles me that there are so many Jews in Israel who are totally non-religious. Oct. 7 happened on a religious holiday where all the people were at a non-religious festival so please explain why the great idea of moving to Israel when so many of the Jews are as non-religious as they are in America.
Leave them alone. The days are coming. Prophet Jeremiah says I “will send them hunters and fishers who will fish them out”
and it will not be easy as you can see all over the world. Soon and very soon, the comfort zone of every one called a Jew and whom God knows is a Jew is going to be made very uncomfortable! Then they will say in Iacob’s Time of Trouble, “Blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord, from when their house was left desolate !
