Iran Pushes Back on Nuclear Demands

Pezeshkian

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Sunday sharply rejected U.S. pressure over Tehran’s nuclear program, saying President Donald Trump “has no right” to deny Iran the ability to benefit from its nuclear rights.

He stressed that Iran’s position is rooted in maintaining regional peace, stability, and security, adding that defending the country remains a “legal and legitimate right.”

Pezeshkian also accused Israel and its allies of failing to achieve their objectives, claiming they violated international law by targeting civilian infrastructure, including schools and hospitals. He pointed to statements about destroying Iran’s culture and “returning it to the Stone Age” as evidence of what he described as the attackers’ true intentions.
