Trump is pushing to expand the Abraham Accords as part of a broader framework tied to ongoing Iran negotiations, urging regional powers including Saudi Arabia and Qatar to join as part of any final agreement.
In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump said that while talks with Iran are progressing, “it will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all,” and stressed that any agreement should be paired with a wider regional alignment through the accords.
He described the Abraham Accords as a proven success, calling them a “financial, economic, and social BOOM” for participating countries, and said expanding them could turn the Iran deal into a far more significant milestone.
Trump added that “most should be ready, willing, and able” to join, suggesting that countries unwilling to sign on “should not be part of this Deal,” framing participation as a key measure of commitment.
In a notable comment, he also raised the possibility that Iran itself could eventually be included, saying it “would be an Honor to have them also be part” of the accords.
