President Donald Trump declares himself the “least antisemitic person in the world,” claims he does not know white supremacist Nick Fuentes, who once dined with him in Mar-a-Lago.

President Donald Trump denounced antisemitism in the Republican Party and within the Make America Great Again movement, declaring that people espousing anti-Jewish views are neither needed nor desired in his coalition.
On Sunday, The New York Times published a lengthy interview with the president which was conducted in the Oval Office last Wednesday.
During the interview, Trump was asked to comment on the ongoing drama on the American right on the issue of antisemitism, with the Times‘ Tyler Pager specifically naming far-right pundit Tucker Carlson – an erstwhile ally of the president who has over the past year criticized some of Trump’s foreign policy decisions.
When asked whether there is “room” within the Republican Party and the MAGA coalition for people espousing anti-Jewish views, Trump responded by saying “No, I don’t.”
“I think we don’t need them. I think we don’t like them.”
The president added that he “certainly” condemns those views, before touting his administration’s support for Israel and the Israeli Education Ministry’s recent decision to award him with the Israel Prize.
“First time it was ever given to anybody outside of Israel,” he said.
Trump went on to declare himself the “least antisemitic” person alive, and the most pro-Israel president in American history.
“I have been the best president of the United States in the history of this country toward Israel.”
The president also cited his family ties to Jews, notably his daughter, Ivanka Trump, who converted to Judaism in 2009.
“I have a daughter who’s married to a Jewish person. My daughter happens to be Jewish, beautiful, three grandchildren are Jewish. I’m very proud of them. I’m very proud of the whole, that whole family. I am the least antisemitic person probably there is anywhere in the world.”
When prompted to condemn white supremacist podcaster Nick Fuentes, Trump claimed he was unfamiliar with the 27-year-old Hitler apologist.
Trump dined with Fuentes and rapper Kanye West at his Mar-a-Lago estate in November 2022.
